We’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates from 12 Cambridge Gardens, where our vision for the new La Petite Nursery is coming to life. Here’s a peek into what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Enhanced Security for Peace of Mind
We’ve partnered with Securafit, a trusted UK-based company with over 20 years of experience
in high-quality security systems. In just two weeks, their team will begin installing CCTV. With this upgrade, we’re committed to providing peace of mind for you and your little ones.
Interior Works: Nearly There!
Refurbishment on the first and second floors is almost complete!
Kitchenettes: Fully equipped with fridges, dishwashers, sinks, and ovens, these new spaces will make daily routines smoother for children and staff alike.
Children’s Toilets: Each classroom (except for our littlest babies) will have direct access to toilets, fostering independence and creating an easy flow throughout the day.
Lighting: Installation is just around the corner, brightening up the space and adding a final touch of warmth and comfort.

Bespoke Designs: La Petite’s Signature Aesthetic
We’ve collaborated with an interior designer and architect to create tailored designs that align perfectly with La Petite’s signature aesthetic. To bring these ideas to life, we’ve worked hard to create stunning visual renders that closely reflect the reality of our future classrooms, showcasing the bespoke features, including the much-loved maisonnette elements that are at the heart of our nursery’s identity. Over the coming months, our carpenter will craft these unique elements, ensuring they are ready for the big opening in September. These features will help maintain the cosy and welcoming atmosphere that defines La Petite.
Planning Permission:
We’ve been working closely with planning consultants, heritage consultants, and architects to prepare a strong application to Brent Council. We’re now awaiting approval for:
A brand-new playground designed to inspire active and imaginative play.
A buggy shelter for convenience.
A security hut to enhance safety.
A beautiful fence surrounding the building
This building, originally designed for a completely different purpose, is being lovingly transformed into a nurturing, mindful space for your child’s development and well-being.
