Dear families,
We’re delighted to share some updates on how we’re making our new 12 Cambridge Gardens, NW6 5AY site even safer and more secure for your little ones! As many of you know, we have been working hard to ensure that our new home from September 2025 is not only a place for exploration and learning but also a safe haven where every child can thrive with confidence. From an advanced intruder alarm system and secure access controls to shatterproof glazed windows, a modern CCTV network, a designated security hut, and much more, every detail has been carefully considered to provide the highest level of safety and peace of mind for our families.
Safety has always been a cornerstone of our approach, and now, with a few thoughtful upgrades, we’re taking it to the next level!
So what’s going to happen within the next 6 months?
Secured Access and Enhanced Perimeter Security: We are enhancing the security of our nursery by installing new gates and railings that will form a protective boundary around the property. The elegant black iron fencing has been thoughtfully designed to harmonise with the beauty of the surrounding area and reflect the charm of the conservation zone. These gates will allow us to carefully monitor entry, ensuring that only authorised staff and families can access the nursery, while preserving the welcoming atmosphere of our setting. We will also have a security guard on-site and a designated security hut to provide an additional level of vigilance and support.
Keeping a Watchful Eye: Our new CCTV system is not just about technology; it’s about peace of mind. The cameras are placed discreetly at key points around the nursery to help us keep a close, yet unobtrusive, watch on the premises. This added layer of security helps us ensure that your child is safe and cared for at all times, even during the busiest parts of the day.
Strengthening Our Main and Side Entrances: We’re upgrading our main entrance and doorways with reinforced security doors to further secure our indoor spaces. These enhancements are designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that every entry point is properly protected.
Creating Safe, Joyful Spaces Inside and Out
It’s not just about keeping the outside world at bay; it’s about creating a nurturing space where children feel free to explore. That’s why we’ve made sure that our internal security measures are just as robust. We’re adding protective barriers in areas where our children might be tempted to climb, and ensuring that all our new spaces are child-proofed to the highest standards.
We will be taking our outdoor space to a new level with additional fencing for our garden area, so children can enjoy the fresh air and engage in activities like our beloved Edible Garden project—safely enclosed and always under our watchful eyes.
Building a Stronger Community Together
We’re so excited to share these updates with you, and as always, we want to keep the conversation going. If you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas, we’d love to hear from you!
We look forward to showing you around our new and improved home as soon as it’s safe to do so. Thank you for your ongoing support and trust.
